At Blackrock House, I was both the owner's representative and interior designer living and breathing every detail to bring their dream home to life.
The initial months were an immersion: I dedicated myself to understanding the client's aspirations and refining a vision that was uniquely theirs.
Art and lifestyle were the two pillars the brief centred around. This led to a stunning home that saw every room exude beauty, functionality and purpose.
A focus on interior design started the collaborative path. From the overall ambiance to the material palette, a clear vision was set. Next, we assembled an architect, builder, consultants and contractors to form our team—a team, where every collaborator was carefully chosen for excellence.
I was on-site every day, closely managing the project alongside the builder. I spent nearly the entire day there, ensuring every detail met our meticulous standards. With this came the responsibility of sourcing every material, piece of furniture, artwork and styling item from around the world.
Naturally, careful attention was given to managing budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring a seamless process for my client. By the time my client returned from overseas, their home was complete. More than simply set up – it was beautifully arranged, ready to be lived in.
The entire project adhered to the budget and was completed within 12 months, showcasing our commitment to perfection and the realisation of the client's dream home.
